Jules Gaillard

Jules Gaillard was born in Mirecourt in 1840 to a family of violin makers. His instruments mostly adhere to the style of Mirecourt at the time. He likely recieved training from his father, Louis Gaillard. Later in his life, Jules trained and collaborated with famous maker Paul Bailly. Violin maker Paul Serdet also served his apprenticeship under Gaillard.
