Jules Gaillard, Paris c. 1850
A fine 19th century French violin labeled “Gaillard Luthier / Eleve de Bernardel de Paris”. The instrument is inspired by Guarneri del Gesu and has a very strong and powerful tone with excellent color and complexity. This violin is currently in an excellent state of preservation. A photo certificate of authenticity from Serge & Florent Boyer will accompany the sale of this instrument.
