Romeo Antoniazzi

Born in Cremona in 1862, Romeo Antoniazzi was born into a family of makers. He started his career by working with his father, Gaetano, and brother, Riccardo, making instruments for Leandro Bisiach. Throughout his career, Romeo worked in many different places and in different workshops. His instruments earned gold and silver medals at the Turin and Paris exhibitions, respectively. Romeo’s instruments are widely admired and have been copied by many other makers.
