Emile Germain, Paris 1867
This beautiful violin by Germain, a Guarneri model, has a rich and powerful tone. The top is made of open grained spruce. The instrument is elegantly varnished in a style reminiscent of Vuillaume. The stunning back is made from two pieces of maple with light to medium flame.
