Pietro Messori

Pietro Messori was born in Modena in 1870. In 1893 he began studying with Giuseppe Sgarbi, likely in Rome. Later on he worked for famous luthier Giuseppe Fiorini in Munich.

Messori eventually opened his own shop in Modena. He was inspired primarily by the models of Amati and Guarneri. His work is lauded for its precision and detail.
