Wojciech Topa
Wojciech Topa has been making instruments of exceptional quality since he established his workshop in Poland in 2002. Topa began his career when he studied at the Technical College of Violin Making in Nowy Targ, Poland. Later, he mastered his craft under luthier Jan Bobak. He uses methods dating back to the 1700s to give his instruments the tonal quality and power of traditional models. Because of this, his instruments are often praised for their warmth and depth. Wojciech Topa has received much international attention and praise for his work. His instruments are favored by many well-known players including K. A. Ball, Andrzej Bauer, Stefan Kamasa, Jerzy Kosmala, Ivan Monighetti, and Janusz Wawrowski.
