Marco Nolli
Born on November 3, 1964, Marco Nolli pursued his passion for violin making at the International School of Violinmaking in Cremona. He studied under the masters Giorgio Scolari and Stefano Conia, focusing primarily on double bass making. After graduating, he continued to improve his trade in Scolari’s workshop, expanding his expertise to the contruction of violins, violas, and cellos.
Nolli has won many gold and silver medals at various competitions. His work is exhibited in the Stradivarian Museum of Cremona. Nolli continues to produce instruments at his workshop in Cremona. Today, Nolli’s intruments are played by famous musicians in not only Italy, but interntionally. Nolli is currently the conductor the “Fanfara dei Bersaglieri” of Cremona. He teaches courses in set-up of string instruments at the “A. Stradivari” Institute.
