Giuseppi Quagliano

Giuseppi Quagliano was born on March 12, 1966, and attended the School of Violin making in Gubbio from 1994 to 1997. He graduated after having studied under the masters G. Spataffi and F. Balbo. He then continued his studies at the Newark School of Violin Making to improve his skill in restoration and construction, graduating in 1999. Quagliano has participated in several international competitions, and was recognized for his violin’s sound in a competition in Mittenwald. Since 2007, he has taught violin making skills with the intention to revive the heritage of his hometown of Jesi, in the province of Ancona in Marche, Italy. Quagliano follows classical models and carefully selects the wood used for his instruments.
