Fritz Arnold Brückner

Fritz Arnold Brückner studied under his father Heinrich August Brückner from 1913 to 1916, and started working independently in Markneukirchen in 1922. Brückner enjoyed an excellent reputation and his instruments are highly sought after. His notable works include copies of Stainer and Stradivari. Brückner was one of the most well known instrument makers in the German Democratic Republic. Until the end of the Cold War, instruments by this maker and his contemporaries were rarely found in the West.
