Ernesto Pevere
Ernesto Pevere was an Italian violin maker born in 1891. He lived and worked in the city of Ferrara his entire life. Pevere first studied violin making with esteemed maker Ettore Soffritti.
Pevere was a prolific maker heavily inspired by traditional cremonese models. Despite living away from a major city, his fine craftsmanship caught the eye of buyers throughout Italy and eventually throughout the world.
