Otello Radighieri, Modena 1995
Otello Radighieri worked as a self-taught maker starting at age 17. His friendship with maker Giancarlo Guicciardi helped to reinforce his passion and propel his career forward. This instrument is a fine example of one of Radighieri’s Stradivari models. The tone is bright and focused, and it has a striking one piece back of broadly flamed maple. The top is made from two pieces of spruce with narrow to medium width grain. The varnish is a vibrant orange.
