Instruments by Clement & Weise of Germany are rapidly becoming the standard of excellence for tone production and quality among contemporary makers. They are based on classic Strad and Guarneri patterns with highly accurate measurements, wood thicknesses and faithful antique finishes. This results in an instrument which can carry the player well into the advanced stages of performance with a minimum of investment. The model 120 is the introductory instrument in the Clement & Weise line but is in no way a compromise in tonal quality. Other models feature more highly figured maple and some refinements of detail only. The Clement & Weise model 120 is available in 4/4, 3/4, 1/2 and 1/4 sizes.*
