Charles Claude Husson, Paris c. 1900, nickel & ebony (3/4 size)

A rare child’s size bow by a famous maker. The bow is described as follows in the photo certificate of Paul Childs, April 2010. “The stick is round and has a length of 65.7 cm. It is of a dark red-brown pernambuco which has mottled figurations and is of superior quality. The model of the head is typical of Husson’s work from this period (c.1900). The frog is of ebony and nickel-silver and has a mother-of-pearl eye in each side. The button is in three piece form and its collar has a slight second cut. At this time this bow is in excellent condition”.
